Session 1: Melissa Sharee
Melissa Sharee has been working professionally in the world of entertainment since the age of 5 when she began print modeling for Nordstrom. Her exposure to arts & entertainment steadily grew as she began exploring her talents with dance, music, theatre and a host of other engaging activities. Born and raised in Seattle, Washington she moved to Los Angeles at the age of 13 to further her career when she signed with talent agency Cunningham, Escott & Dipene - eventually graduating from the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts. Melissa Sharee later obtained her undergraduate degree from Syracuse, University in Political Science and went on to complete a Summer Screenwriting Program at UCLA. As a SAG-AFTRA and ASCAP affiliated artist Melissa continues to share her talents as a performing artist on stage, screen and radio. Her music can be found on iTunes, Amazon and CDbaby. When she is not performing or coaching Melissa Sharee she is busy as the Founder of the creativeMprojects Foundation building a movement to develop young adult artists in critical transition as influential community leaders who are thriving spiritually, mentally and socially. Session 2: Emily Hibard
Adventurous and energetic, Emily Hibard traveled to every continent, kayaked in Antarctica, ran the LA Marathon, and summited Mount Kilimanjaro before her thirtieth birthday.
Emily received a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, while a two-sport collegiate athlete, from Azusa Pacific University. She went on to study Modern Political Thought at Oxford University, and later earned a Master’s degree in Public Administration, specializing in Nonprofit Management, from California State University in Northridge.
A risk-taker fueled by an entrepreneurial spirit, Emily works in all three sectors: private, government, and nonprofit. She owns advertising, production, and talent management companies. Emily served as a Cable Television Commissioner in Los Alamitos, California, and currently serves as a Board Member on the Studio City Neighborhood Council.
Idle Tuesdays Recording Studio is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit Emily created. The organization is managed by volunteers, funded by donations, and has recorded some of American Idol andRising Star’s top vocalists.
Fewer things excite Emily more than helping people do good! Starting Your Nonprofitsimplifies the process into eleven steps, twelve months, and about a thousand dollars.
In the shadows of her accomplishments, Emily has wrestled with eating disorders, self-harming, perfectionism, addiction, depression, and worthiness. She shares her story so that those with similar struggles might hear about the One who helps her navigate life’s unwanted realities.

Sarah Stricklin is a recent graduate of Biola University, holding a B.S. in Music in Worship and a B.A. in English. In past years, Sarah has served as a worship leader, camp counselor, junior high leader, youth group intern, worship intern, Resident Advisor, student conference director, and Chapel Marketing Intern. Her loves include singing show tunes in her car, cooking, and being near the beach with family and friends. Sarah is currently working as a Signature Event Coordinator for Biola's Office of Advancement.

Kimy Brennan is a 3rd year college student at Long Beach City College studying Music & Communications. She leads worship at Light & Life Church in North Long Beach. She is a youth ministry intern & the president of the Christian club on campus at Long Beach City College. Her home consists of three wonderful people: her sister Sarah, brother-in-law Sean, & 4-month old nephew Caspian. She had been going to church since the age of 12 and committed her life to Christ then, but had not consciously made a change until she was 16. She grew up in the church but did not let the Love of God change her until she hit rock bottom. Some of her passions include worship, having fun, and passionate people. She desires to see people of all ages, ethnic backgrounds, and walks of life come to know God more deeply and experience the abundant living that He has so graciously offered us.

Physician Assistant, Judson Baptist Church
God has given Lillie a full life – first in His gift of salvation and also in serving Him in fulfilling ways. She is a Physician Assistant by occupation serving in communities of greatest need a Youth Worker at Judson Baptist Church in Carson, CA. She is currently a student in the Urban Youth Worker Institute 90 Degree Certificate Program. She is grateful to God for widening her cultural lens when she went to Ghana and then to the Dominican Republic on medical mission trips. She highly supports youth traveling on international missions to serve others and witness the awe of God in brand new ways. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, practicing her Spanish language and serving on international mission trips – often all three at the same time.

Ariel is filled with purpose, passion and creativity to help others succeed.
She is a Graphic Design Director and has experience that expands into print,
marketing and advertising production. Her work has been included in
multi-million dollar advertising campaigns throughout the United States.
The passion for design comes from a larger passion to honor God through her
gifts, talents and abilities. She also serves as co-director for "Kids with Hope" to
mentor, teach and work with kids so that they can connect with their
Faith, Family, Friends, Church and Community.
President M25:20 Media
Shawntrice is the president of M25:20 Media which publishes the Christian Action Hero graphic novels. She is a former Los Angeles Police Officer. She is a wife, mother and is passionate about sharing with young ladies about loving themselves, even in the midst of past mistakes.
Crossfit Competitor, Biola University, Ekko Church
Grace Johnstone is a disciple of Jesus. She attends Ekko Church in Fullerton where she teaches Sunday school and leads one of the church's home groups, called Ekklesia. She enjoys working at her alma mater, Biola University, while continuing her pursuit of obtaining a masters in Exercise Physiology and Nutrition. She is also an active member of the competitive CrossFit community and is now eagerly preparing for the 2017 Open.
Grace's pursuit of physical fitness has played a vital role in her walk with God. In efforts to gain external beauty, status, and what she believed to be her destiny at the time, Grace depended on her own strength and hard work to attain her dreams, only to leave her feeling broken and a failure. However, through God's love and grace, Grace was able to experience and hear His calling her, to align her heart with His heart. She now takes God's love and uses it to encourage others to seek first the Kingdom through holistic fitness of caring for the mind, body, and soul.
Jasmine M Garcia
Jasmine M. Garcia is a 28-year old up and coming actress who has spent the last ten years pursuing her passion and calling in the film industry. She has studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts (West) and The Playhouse West Repertory Theater. She just completed her first supporting role in a project (which had it's premiere at the Arclight Cinema's in Hollywood) that tells the real-life story of a female’s journey and struggle with her identity. Jasmine’s success story is just beginning, but her journey with the Lord through the entertainment field is not. She was raised with an unwavering love and relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and a desire to act ever since she was 2. Jasmine is looking forward to all God has in store for her as she pursues her life’s destiny of bringing the love and power of God to people in the arts and entertainment industry in an unconventional and authentic way. Although her career is just beginning to emerge from obscurity, she can truly appreciate the saying, “Don’t despise small beginnings,” realizing that her journey is just as important, if not more, than her destination. To Jasmine building a strong foundation is the ultimate destination.
Jasmine lives in coffee shops loving to read and write poems to epic film scores and moving graphics. She also enjoys bodybuilding and physical challenges. She practices photography and video for her church The Acts Center located in the Inland Empire where she is the Head of Production of Media Creation.
Venus Burton (Formerly known as Booski Love)
Writer, Producer, Songwriter
Venus L. Burton, formerly Booski Love, is known today as VLB. Born and raised in Watts, California, Venus’s family tree is rooted in countless numbers of musicians and entertainers. At a very early age, Venus Burton fell in love with music of all genres. Her immeasurable list of talents consists of writing, producing, and performing her own original music.
VLB attended Time Warner Cable classes, in which her instructor was pro‐ducer/director, Ron Roberson; now newscaster for CNN News. Upon completion of various courses, Venus became certified in television production. In 2007 she began managing up‐and‐coming music artists and in 2009, moved into public relations management for well known Recording Artist.
VLB rededicated her life to the Lord on April 17, 2011. She began working for the Lord in different avenues, one being Christian rap. In June of 2011, God gave Venus the name for a rap group ‐ God’s Original Plan – with the mandate to reach the lost through song. God’s Original Plan (GOP) soon ministered all over Southern California.
Today, God has furthered Venus’s character of gifts into writing, having penned her first book entitled S.T.U.D.–A Shared Testimony of Unashamed Deliverance; which takes readers into the dark caverns of danger, lust and power‐play of her former lifestyle. Venus L. Burton is also working on her third book titled Elevation God’s Way To Deliverance. Venus has just release her Christian, solo album entitled Elevation. God has also led her into Internet Radio, Hosting her own broadcast. Titled Kickin Back With Christ In The Basement - Real Talk With VLB. Venus has recently completed her first film entitled S.T.U.D. The Movie. Venus takes no credit for what God has done in her life, and gives all glory to God!
